Prenatal,
Home Birth,
& Postpartum Care
As your midwife, I meet you where you are.
Care in your home, on your schedule, with your family, where you are most comfortable.
Home birth care with me is deeply personal and built on relationship. When you choose me as your midwife, you are choosing a known, consistent provider, someone who walks with you through your entire pregnancy and is present for your labor and birth. I limit the number of families I serve so I can show up fully for each one, and I’ve been very intentional in building a practice that protects that connection. This is not a setting where new faces come and go, and it’s not a learning environment where you are being practiced on. The people who may be present at your birth are carefully chosen and trusted: typically just myself and either a second midwife assisting or a trained birth assistant. Your birth is something I take seriously and hold with a great deal of respect, and I do everything I can to protect that space so you feel safe, comfortable, and truly known.
I love home birth and the work of caring for women through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. My approach is flexible and centered on you. I pay close attention to what you need in the moment: whether that’s quiet support in the background or more hands-on encouragement and guidance. I’m comfortable being hands-off when everything is unfolding normally, and just as ready to step in when needed. I support families who want to catch their own babies, involve their partners or children, or have me receive their baby. It’s your experience, and I honor that within safe, evidence-based care. Your safety and your baby’s safety are always at the center of everything I do. If plans need to change and a higher level of care is needed, I will help facilitate that transition and continue with you in a support role. I don’t disappear. I remain a steady presence for you while your care is transferred appropriately. My goal is simple: that you feel safe, cared for, and deeply supported throughout your entire experience.
